Business is the best way to keep our Italian heritage alive

Below my post on Soffritto's Facebook wall about the Italian Buying Group they just started with my help, Sergio Grasso's advice and the Forlì-Cesena Chambers of Commerce support.

I think it is important because... well you can read it below.

"Giovanni,
I wish to thank you for your hard work to make the Italian Buying Group happen.

As a proud Italian, I’m happy to see it happen because official data say that 90% of food sold as Italian in the USA is not Italian for real. Now we are showing the "real thing". Moreover, the goods you picked for this first sale come from small, dedicated producers. Family-run businesses who keep alive a part of our Italian heritage with their work. Buying directly from them and paying a fair price help keep them in business and preserve Italian heritage. That's why the Chamber of Commerce of Forlì-Cesena, the Association Italia 2050 and the Province of Nuoro backed this pilot-project.

I know you as a proud Italian who knows really well and love Italian food. That's why we chose you for this pilot project. I know also that you put so much passion because we’ll help our beloved Italian culture spread by providing top-notch food at reasonable prices. A win-win situation for everybody.
Thanks!"
